Here is a collection of music that I am either playing drums on or I wrote and recorded in my home studio. Contact me at tyler.ingersoll@gmail.com with any questions. Enjoy.
Plastic Audio (2000-Present) This is a collection of electronica/house/trance music that I composed and recorded in my home studio over the last 10 years. The majority of this was performed and recorded in 2001 while I was attending the University of Delaware. I found the old Acid Pro tracks this past year and imported them into Pro Tools for remixing. Pretty fun to see where my head was almost 10 years ago. They inspired some new quick tracks that I recorded this past summer (2009). Equipment: Korg MS2000 / Roland JP-8000 / Kurzweil PC-2x
Chaotic Fusion Improvisation (10/16/2001) This is a collection of excerpts from a 2-hour jam with Jim Dunstan on keys and his friend Tony on bass... both who were 18 years old at the time. It was the only time we ever jammed and pretty cool that Mike Tate was able to come over and record it in my old basement on South College Avenue in Newark, Delaware. I had just spent the previous few hours with a friend at TGI Fridays celebrating an early 23rd birthday with a few Ultimate Long Island Iced Teas processing inside of me... sloppy playing!
Yuba Rift (2000-2001) This is band that included Nate Trier on keys (2000), Jim Dunstan on keys (2001), Wayne Silver (Seer/Carver) on guitar, and Jason Golden on bass. Entirely instrumental, but we had fun with it. Almost everything was recorded with my Sony video camera in my basement.
The Healthy Doses (1999) The Healthy Doses was a band that I played with while at the University of Delaware with Josh Berger (guitar), Rick Lowenberg (guitar), Mike Stankus (bass), and Nate Trier (keys). Most of these recordings were done by Mike Tate at the Deer Park Tavern or the East End Cafe in Newark DE. |
